Why Abundance is a Mindset

You’ve probably heard this before, '‘abundance is a mindset” but what does that really mean?

Today, I’m going to be sharing ways that you can completely change your mindset, which in turn will honestly change your life.

Everything in life is a mindset. You might be surprised to know that how we begin to have an abundance mindset is by focusing on what we already have. When we aren’t in a constant pursuit of things and stuff, we actually create a life full of freedom.

Being successful, having more than enough, having financial freedom, etc- these are all things that are mindsets. When we have an abundance mindset we are able to leave insecurities behind and pursue bigger and better dreams. Not only do we start pursuing those things but we actually start attaining them.

Have you ever met someone who has a mindset where they believe if someone else wins that means that they can’t? They believe that there’s enough success, jobs, etc to go around? This would be someone who does not have an abundance mindset but instead is someone who has a scarcity mindset.

Having an abundance mindset means that you know that you’re in the drivers seat and that for the most part you have complete control over your life.

Here are 5 steps on how you can have an abundance mindset:

  1. Your thoughts are everything-
  2. Recognizing the power of your thoughts puts you in a constant state of mindfulness. When you’re in tune with your thoughts you can quickly decipher through them and figure out if your thoughts are leading you into a mindset of abundance or a scarcity mindset.
  3. The people you surround yourself-
  4. It’s essential that the people in your inner circle are like minded individuals. You don’t have to match up on everything (that’s impossible) but they do need to be people who are committed to personal growth and are willing to help push you further.
  5. Consider your time-
  6. Evaluate what all you spend your time on daily. Is there anything you could free up? When we have a to do list that’s miles long we tend to have a mind that runs on empty. A mind that runs on empty cannot have an abundance mindset. When you increase your productivity and shorten your to do list, you can have a simpler, more abundant life.
  7. Do more of what you love-
  8. Considering your time goes hand in hand with doing more of what you love. When you free up your time, you can truly focus on the things that matter most to you.
  9. Speak daily affirmations-
  10. When we speak affirmations, we are speaking to the unconscious mind. Speaking affirmations makes it to where you don’t have the time nor the need to keep focusing on what you don’t have or lack. Remember that whether you think you can OR can’t, you are 100% right.
